MadDogMcQ's DCS WORLD: FS2020

Thanks for visiting this blog. The name is Tom and I live in the NW UK. I've been interested in FlightSims for many years but work has always got in the way and as a result, I've never really got to grips with any of the sims, but now that I have more leisure time, I want to really knuckle down and do some serious learning.

Back in the late 90's I started an online "Virtual Squadron" using Falcon 4.0 as the platform. It was called the 185th RESERVOIR DOGS and it's still going strong some 20 years later (even though I left it due to work and family commitments).

So anyway, here we are, just approaching 2020 and combat sims have come on quite a long way since Falcon-4, so I've built a new PC specifically for the task and I'm ready to study.

So feel free to join me on the learning curve. I will be posting information about what I learn and will include all sources, whether they be my own, online webpages or (more likely) Video Tutorials that I find on YouTube.

I should point out that I will be spending most of my tme learning about the F-16C VIPER, since it holds onto my heart strings from back in the day.

I'd love to hear from any visitors or anyone with valuable information to share. Don't forget, I am a rookie at this, I'm not an expert!
